I Cipressi is a family-run winery with roots deeply anchored in both Southern Italy and Tuscany. The story began in the early 1960s when the Frangiosa family moved from Campania to the breathtaking hills of Montepulciano, Tuscany. Initially, the family’s focus was on growing and selling grapes. In 1995, Luigi Frangiosa decided to take a bold step forward and founded “I Cipressi” winery, creating a brand that would reflect their passion for the land and wine. Since then, the winery has grown and expanded, becoming a cherished part of the local wine heritage.
